little power

i have a 04 6.0 and i just changed 2 injectors lastweek and has ran perfect till lastnight i was going tdown the road and a pop under the hood and i lost probably 70% of my power..if i go up hill it just looses speed it will stay at a steady 45 to 50 on flat roads but has no get up at all.. any ideas

Did you pop the hood and look? You probably blew off an intercooler boot

i have and the conectors are all on there..its not missing any it runs fine just no power if that makes any since

I mean, maybe the blue cac connector that is attached to the turbo has a split in it. Either way, chances are that you have a plumbing issue. I should be fairly easy to find with that big of a power loss.

yea i thought it would be easy to but there is no leaks no where and that connector is fine..idk it has really threw me off..

So your saying ALL 4 CAC Boots are good Clamps OK as well

Do you have the PLastic CAC Tube on drivers side coming from the cooler to intake manafold sometimes those split if there Both Metal this is not the issue

I thought that was an '05 and later thing? The plastic cold side tube that is.

My 04 has a plastic cold side CAC tube. I have ben fighting the same thing on my truck now for a few weeks. Take a look at my thread for some more ideas. (My turbo is now on my bench)
