Won't go to cold...
Greeting all,
I have a 1997 Expedition EB and am having a problem with the temperature selector.
It will go to hot without issue, but when turned to cold, it will not change temp. I can hear the blend door moving and the twist switch on the dash is not cracked.
If I turn off the air, move the temp control back and forth a couple of times before leaving it on cold, and turn it on low, it will then blow cold and seem to work fine. Until I turn it back to heat, where it gets stuck again.
I read several threads on this and have seen others having the same symptoms, but none are updated with what their particular problem was, at least in regards to getting it to go cold with turning off the air.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
