ABS Light
My motorhome is built on an E350 chassis (1995). The ABS light has come on several times in the past year. It resets itself when the ignition is turned off. The light comes on when the unit has been driven awhile and everything is warm and a "hard" brake application is performed. I've replaced the sensor that mounts to the top of the differential, but that did not solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

My 96 E350 Club Wagon does the same thing. I had a code read out once that indicated an internal pump failure requiring replacement. I didn't have the thousands to do it, so I just drive with the light. The brakes work fine as regular brakes, so I've not pursued it.

There is a ring inside of the differential that the sensors "reads". If this ring is damaged in any way it will cause the same problems. There are posts on here from guys who have opened up their rear cover looking for this problem only to find metal in there and that's what the problem was. First thing I'd do is pull the cover and check things out. Cheapest thing to start with. Mine did the same thing, but the sensor solved it for me.
