had oil leaks...cooler and dipstick sloved that....then the fuel started leaking...tested pressure...nada...checked bowl...near empty...replace bowl o-rings and pump...truck runs with ether(disco'd the GP's)...idles perfect...ramps up with throttle...shut her down and try to restart....nogo....but it looks like my fuel leak is gone....thoughts????
Look under the drivers side of the hpop which is in the front of the V. There's a wire connector on it. If you leave your fuel bowl in there's a way to get it out with a wrench but mine is electric fuel so someone will have to chime in on that. Mine I use a deep socket 1 1/8" to pull it out. Its best to drain your resorivor first or a quart of oil will spill out. After you disconnect the electrical wire unscrew the tin nut and pull off the solinode, I think that's what its called. Then wrench it out and the two o rings are on the end. One is split, when i first did this I thought I broke it.
