Question front coils

hi all. i've got a 99 F 150 supercrew 2wd. i would like to raise the front end so it sits level with the back. right now, it's 3 inches lower. anyone have any suggestions on how i can do this? i want to bring it up level strictly for looks and i don't want to affect the way the truck rides or handles. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

front coils

Hi B Perry and welcome to FTE

I myself am not to familiar with anything newer than 92 but in my 88s I've always just stuffed in a set of bigger coils. I always went with variable rate coils. Their wound tight at the ends and loose in the middle the tight wineds soak up the little road imperfections and the loose wineds take the heavy abuse.

But you might want to try asking about this in the 97-2003 forum the boys up there will be more than happy to help you out. You might even find the same up grade already posted up there if you try a search in that forum.

Good Luck
