Lost please help

Driving home the other day, starting loosing power. Hooked up scanner tool (snap-on modis) ran KOEO test got code p0470 exhaust pressure sensor. Took off the sensor and the tube. While removing the tube it snapped. Replaced the tube and cleaned the sensor. took truck for a ride and was better for about 2 miles the started losing power again. hook up scanner tool again and recieved same code p0470 so i replaced the sensor. Took truck for a ride and got worse, no power. Put scanner back on truck and got code p0284, did research and found out it is most likely a ghost code from the grey cps sensor, finally got code to reset. Took truck back out and had no power at all truck would not go above 10 mph. When i got back t the house and tried to get the rpms up and the truck was blowwing white smoke. put the scanner back on and codes p0263 and p0269. After trouble shooting a little further truck died, with no fuel getting to the filter bowl. Read wires out to fuel pump and had power to the pump but pump would not turn on. Pump is under warrenty thru napa so going to get the new one. Could the fuel pump be the cause of all my problems. This all started with code p0470 eps and after replacing the sensor and the tube just got worse. Please help any info would be greatly appreciated

0470 seems to show up for no apparent reason. I'd ignore it.

Sounds like a fuel issue to me. Have you done the in tank mods? Be sure to check your fuel pressure after you get the new pump on to make sure you don't have a restriction in the tank.

P0470 was the original code. Changed out the eps and tube and it was down hill from there. Going to blow out all fuel lines tomorrow, was just curious if the fuel pump would cause the issues i am having.

Well, you know you have fuel issues regardless. Fix those and go from there. Listen to Chris (F350-6), he knows fuel problems!!

Update. Replaced the bad fuel pump and still was not getting fuel to the fuel bowl. Went thru the entire fuel system could not figure out why i was not getting fuel. Checked all fuses and relays all working. pulled the fuel pump to see whart was going on. p\Pump was turning on but not pulling any fuel. I put power to the pump and put in a bowl of water and it was not working. So back to square one going to get another pump tomorrow. Will update as i go.

When you get the next pump installed, be sure the lines have fuel in them since they don't always prime so well. The fuller the tank, the easier it will be for the pump to prime.

A bad pump out of the box sucks. What brand pump was it?

Only thing I would add is to check your fuel filter as well. Barry had low power issues and swapped in new injector cups, only to find that the fuel filter was clogged. My point is to check the simplest things first. I know you have a "known bad" fuel pump, but don't skip checking the simple things, just to be safe and be sure you're 100% fixed.

I am not sure how much rubber lines are on these trucks, but are u sure the lines are not plugged, rubber can swell closed, and a bad pump can send debris into the system and couse problems. Just a few more suggestions.
Also, are you sure the truck itself has enough fuel?

It was the Napa Brand. Do not know who makes it will find out.
The fuel filter is new and has been checked.
As far as i can none of the fuel lines are rubber.

Going to pick up new pump as soon as store opens. going to test in store.

When you changed the pump, did fuel leak from the tank line? It should. I am wondering about a clog in the tank.

If the intank screen is clogged, it wont. Along with being clogged, it'll burn the pump up in no time. I'd drop the tank. Doesnt take long to do, doing the HUTCH mod, but will if the tanks full

Cleaned out fuel lines before i installed the new pump. Works good truck running good now. Going to hook scanner back up to see if any codes reappear. Got another dilema my wife has an 05 excursion with the 6.0, changed the filter on top of the engine and it ran fine for a while then gradually lost power. Wife returned home and i replaced the one on the fuel rail under the driverside and truck stop running all together. I took the filters back out and changed them again thinking they did not seat right. I also replaced the batteries and she cranked and would not start been trying to get the air out for 2 days now. Pulled the filter cap on top and and watched the level rise real slow. I am pretty sure the pump is toast. Has anyone ran into this. Been a real trying week.
