Hi I am new to the site and been reading some very good info but have landed in a mess. Just built my 2.3 in a 85 ranger. The issue is the truck runs great when cold but after running a few min it starts missing on number 2 cylinder. Have checked spark when it does it and it is firing. It seems to be getting to much fuel on that one cylinder. Any suggestions.......
I can pull all plugs and Only number 2 is dripping in gas. Can clean plug and put back in motor and it runs fine for a few min then it starts missing on that same cylinder. Like today. I let truck set over night with battery disconnected. Started truck up and it ran great for about 5 min then #2 went dead. Can pull injecter wire or plug wire and there is no change. If you hold accelerator say half throttle it runs fine then starts slowing and missing. This is a fresh build. New everything. New map sensor, new iac, ect, and o2 sensor is new. Have never seen such a thing.
