I really like the look and features of those radius arms but the price @#$%^ lol. I was wondering if anyone has actually used these yet? I would really like to know how they perform.
The only thing I'd worry about on the side by side mount would be tire clearance - I guess it would depend on offset and tire size.
The design itself will work just fine.
I'm installing Rancho extended arms on my 89 Bronco next weekend - I'm cleaning them up and painting this weekend. I got lucky and found them in a salvage yard on a 94 F-150. Picked them up for $35.00 for the pair.
Once they're on, I'll be finishing up the design for the front triple shock mount (factory dual shocks plus the third). I'll post some pictures when I get it all done.
Actually the superflex arms have extra tire clearance by incorporating a bend that bends away from where the tire would hit it. But on this style radius arms you will always have tire contact at full lock. On the article they said ther 35x12.50's still rubbed at full lock. But that the rubbing wasnt like driving over a train track like the old radius arms I-bean cross section made it to be. I got 33x12.50 super swamper tsl's and everyone around me knows when my tire bites my radius arm! lol
So there isnt anyone on these forums that have used this radius arm yet?
