Had a great easter hope ya all did to.I had a visit from a friend sunday that I met at the BmX track with my son.He is the manager of our wrecking yard and an experienced rodder and welder.Of course I inquired to him about helping me with my mus 11 install and he stopping by to see where I'm at and to prep me on what he expects for his visit with his welder. He lined me out and in the process we took some measurements.Oh Oh my frame is out 3/4 of an inch.It has never been hit but we could see where some of the spots where the rivets were had torn the frame and creased it.Probably just age cause I know the truck hasent been hit.Have you all seen this??? anyway he said the first visit wont be to weld but to pull and he has this real handy ram and chain set he built to pull it.I hope it works!!as you can see by the pics im getting the frame up front ready.I have all the bolts out of the cab and just need some extra hands to get it off. Then the brake job and wiring can commence. I will be tearing down my pinto front this week and wil keep the pics coming. Thanks for the ear .....I'm out DJ

DJ,
Yes. Is one rail 'ahead' or 'behind' the other? The term for that is frame 'diamond'. Being a truck, nearly 60 years of use, has given ample opportunity to do this. Pushing or pulling an object centered from one side can do this. Common causes are winching a really stuck truck out of a mud hole and attaching the cable to one frame horn, or an impact with an object that pushes directly on one frame rail only.
As common as this is encountered your welder should be able to correct this.
Good Luck!
