Last tuesday I had the 95 crew cab in the shed it started fine I parked it outside to warm up came back and it sounded like it was running out of fuel then it died. I pulled it in to the shed thursday and put a propane grass burner torch un der it to heat it up thought it might be gelled up. I finally get it to start and go to take it for a spin and it died 3/4 of a mile away do the same thing all over again and it dies a 1/2 mile away. So Yesterday we dropped the front tank and notice that the fuel selector plastic line connectors were melted so we checked the front fuel tank for water it had hardly any water in it. so we also connected the front fuel tank direct up to the motor bypassing the tank selector valve. I changede the fuel pump fuel filter and blew the line back to the tank out. and it still doesnt idle correctly and you step on it a couple timesd and it will die. and it can't get a pressure reading from the schrader valve.
Pull the IPR & look at the small O ring on the end . Its a cheap test ... It may also be that the LPOP can't keep up. When it stalls , look in the res , see if its full ...
BTW , Is the Crankcase full? How old is the oil ?...
Got it figured out I just don't know which one fixed it. I took the fuel pressure regulator off and thourghly cleaned it out and blew the fuel lines back and blew fuel all over the floor and switched the two fuel lines around that I hard lined to the motor.
