Cool Defrost Only.

I have an 06 F-150, there is lots of heat but it only blows on defrost. Is this the blend door motor or is it something else? I have had different people tell me what they think it is, what do you guys say.

I am pretty sure that 04 was the start of the electronic control, I have been told it may be a mode control motor, blend door motor or a chunk of foam jammed in place.

It's likely the blend door actuator. Not hard to fix, just hard to get to.

Just had this issue on mine last fall. It's blend door actuator. Mine was blowing the vent only, didn't notice it when I bought last summer because it's norm to have A/C blowing on vent.

How do I get at this to fix it, is it the motor that goes or another part.
Thanks.

not quite sure.... sorry. I had the dealer to do this for me. Was around $300 for this. It stung at first, but after couple days it went away.
