ok so i figured out what muffler im going with but now realize that my trucj has the original exhaust piping that came with the truck 40yrs ago. i cant seem to find a replacement even on LMC for my truck. LMC Truck Parts - Page 125 this says it will fit standard cab with Auto trans only. o where can i go now?

 

Drizzie27,We need more information about your truck as in is it a short bed,a super cab, engine size,a crew cab, tranny type and any modifications from stock.LMC looks to have everything you would need for a stock muffler system for standard and short bed models with automatic transmission only and all V-8's except the 302. Also has exhaust systems for 6 cylinders at the bottom of that page. Also if towing a trailer you might want side exit exhaust.

I used a 2.5-inch Jeg's kit on my 73.

 

Walker exhaust makes factory replacement pipes that hook to your manifolds. That is what I went with. They are available from many parts stores.
