So tire guru's what would be a good tire to buy that is 28"-29" tall for a 15"x7" rim on a f150 4x4. Good mileage, and snow traction a plus. The truck has 3.08 gears so thinking any taller would be a bad idea for power and MPG.
I have tried searching tire rack but not sure what metric size to look at.
I have on my '89 F150 2wd some Goodyear Wrangler Radials for the back, and wow what a difference they made in snow! Nice deep thread. Not noisy, not that I can hear anyways.
I like them also as they have white letters witch is very important for me.
The stock tires on the truck only measure 27" tall, I know there can be some variation from brand to brand. Thinking about going with some wrangler GSA's. They seem to last a long time and do well in snow and rain.
