electrical issue solved. One new query.

The electrical issue (power windows, map lights, radio, dash issues)
I found while working on no start. A bad ground between the cab and frame on passenger side. Replaced it and electrical issue gone. Seen the same question on here a few times.

New query: Still have a no start, the ficm is fine. This all started with a p0460 if I have the code # right, but it was for - fuel level sending unit cicuit. Is there a wire or connection from the sending unit to tje fuel pump that shuts the pump down when the sensor is gone? What are the three electrical connecters that go to the HFCM?
Just trying to figure it out b4 I have to take it in.

Thanks everyone, Jerky Pants or gianni

One is the fuel pump power (from the fp relay in the power distribution box).

One is the Water In Fuel indicator circuit.

One is the fuel heater.

Someone else will have to answer if the power to the pump is shut off when there is a fuel level sending unit error.

Take the cap off the secondary fuel filter housing on top of the motor. Have someone else turn the key on and see if fuel is rapidly filling the filter reservoir. I recently had an issue of a fuel pump that was either weak or working intermittently.

Thank you, it seems plausible to me that the pump would have the capability of shutdown
Is there an inline fuse to the fuel shutoff switch?

The wiring diagram doesn't show the fuses, so I'm not sure where in the system they are tied in exactly. There is a fuel pump fuse (20 amp) in the panel under the dash, and a HFCM fuse (30 amp) in the power distribution box under the hood. I'm not sure if the HFCM fuse is for the heater or the pump.

The power from the fp relay goes through the fuel shutoff first and then to the pump.

P0460 will not cause a "no" start. Check fuse #40 under dash.
