F250 Tailgate... Excursion Conversion does it exist?
Looking to take off the tailgate off my 04 f250sd and was going to put on a luvered gate for a 5th wheel. Was wondering if anyone has ever done a conversion and taken the tailgate off a newer excursion and put it on the back of thier super duty. Id much rather have the swing open doors when im not pulling then to have the luvered gate that surves almost no purpose what so ever.

thats a really interesting mod ive never heard of something like that before, it would be cool though! i hope someone chimes in on this im interested to see if its been done...welcome to FTE!

Thats disappointing, lol. Well I might see what other alternatives might be out there before i decide on the luvered gate. Id almost be willing to give the conversion a go ahead but didnt realise they used the plastic for those doors
