NO electrical power at all

Hi guys...i need some serious help on my 06 4cyl Fusion. I know this is a truck site but I have recieved good help from this site in the past on my truck and i dont know were too turn except here. My fusion is dead after I crossed the cables jumping it in the dark ( and being upset at the same time). Anyway I have checked fuses in the distribution box with volt meter, took out battery and tried jumping strait to battery terminals...NOTHING. It wont crank, no lights, no sounds. I dont know were to go from here, i dont want to get it towed to dealer cause it will be mainful, money wise. Any advice would be cherished

You checked the fuses with a voltmeter. Did you check them for continuity using the ohms scale? If so, why don't you check the fuse sockets for power. If they are all dead, that means the fuse box is not even being powered, and you need to look upstream. Go to Autozone's site and see if they have any diagrams of your car.
