Hand-operating priming pump

i mounted mine in the engine compartment on the filter head bracket.
i don't have any pictures of it, they were on the old laptop that had a meltdown, and the truck is in storage about 30 miles away waiting on restoration.
the nice thing about the facet duralift pump is it will lift fuel straight up10 foot.
it was designed for refrigerated trailers that had the fuel tank under the trailer, with the engine up on top front of the trailer.

so to start the truck, you prime it for a few seconds, then start the truck and turn the pump off while it is running or do you leave it on to supplement the mechanical???

all electric. i have not had a lift pump on the truck since i put the facet pump on around 1999 or 2000

CAN you run both? or will one interfere with the other??

you can,. if you want to run both, i would put the E- pump after the lift pump and push through it for regular use. then just use the E-pump for priming the system .
if you run the e-pump first it will fill the crank case with diesel if the diaphragm in the lift pump fails.
