hi, i have an 89 f150 and was hoping to put 33x12.50x15 on my 10" wide rims with maybe getting away with heavy duty springs and no lift kit.
any thoughts?

Hey I have an 89 with 15x10's and 31's. Theres room to go bigger nd right now it dosen't rub but with my 32's it most likely will. Anyway I saw a 94 2x4 with 15x10;s and 33x12.5's. I'm sure it rubbed and it looked like if he hit a speed bump he was gonna shred the tires. But he did it with no mods except for wider wheels I guess. Get the heavy coils that will pick up the front 2 inchs and then if you want get the short add-a-leaves for the back. 2 inchs of lift and they'll fit.

ok ill look into that, i just read a thing on 2" springs so im assuming that means 2" over stock height and that should give me enough. hopfully it wont mess with my alignment. shimm wise i mean.
thanks

My brother used to have an 89 bronco. He had 33x12.50's on 15x10" wheels and they were fine. When he would turn really sharp they would just barely hit the plastic fender liner (no big deal) and he got them to rub the top of the wheel well but that required getting air over a particularly nasty intersection. Basically, they will fit w/ minor rubbing.
