Front end noises
How can I tell if the front bearings are starting to go? On the way home from work, the front of the truck got extremely loud at highway speed 60-65mph. Almost thought I sprung an exhaust leak. It did quiet down when letting off the gas and letting the truck slow down.
At 35mph, I can barely hear it, and when turning the steering wheel left, it sound like the noise went away. This is why I'm sort of thinking of the bearings.

Jack up one side of the front end where you can grip the top and bottom of the tire and try to move it in and out from top to bottom. if it moves then the bearings need to be removed and inspected (probably replaced). Do both sides the same way.
