My problem is this. On really cold (0 degrees) the enging produces enough vacum to suck the brake pedal to the floor. I can pull it up manually and drive at each stop it goes rapidly to the floor. Once the motor is warm it stops.
What could be causing this? Is it a vacum problem? Any imput would be appreciated.
The engine is producing the normal amount of vacuum, but your brake booster or master cylinder is going bad. If the truck stays stopped while the pedal stays down, it's the booster. If the truck will roll with the pedal down, it's the MC.
