i know ford is making good money on the currently body platform, but I think a complete ground up new model would be good. I want to say I heard 2016 we would get this, I know thats the year for a brand new mustang.
It would be cool if they went retro and used a US built diesel engine and a US built transfer case. They could also go retro and use a manual transmission.
If its not broke, why fix it? Ford has been making big bucks off of this general body style for a long time now with no signs of slowing up. Making a drastic change would be stupid.

Not gonna happen, it's cheaper to build the engine/trans in Mexico and ship them to factory.
