Finally gonna pull the trigger on a set of recon led tail lights for the truck. Where is everyone buying them from, right from Recons web site or another vendor.
Do you have the LED tail lights? I am a little concerned that they are going to blink fast, which I dont want, and was wondering if you had to install a new flasher realy to correct that. If you did do you remeber the part number of the relay you used?
Sorry I don't have the tail lights. I have the cab lights, third brake light, mirror lights and tailgate light bar. The tail lights are on my list though
In case you didn't know yet.... Recon's LED tail lights do not come with LED reverse bulbs so if you want those you have to buy them seperately. The part # for those is 264213WH. You'll see it mentioned on the Recon site when you look at the tail lights.
yea i got mine from e-bay too red smoked 115$$$shipped and got my back ups at super brite led20.00 for 2 plus shipping dont worry they come plug and play they flash at the same speed( same part num. as recons)
Remember that it costs to sponsor this awesome forum and Riffraff Diesel has been one for sometime, supporting us with info and great deals. Just because you can get it from some "who*esaler" on Fleabay or Amazon for a couple bucks less doesn't mean they will be there when you have an issue.
I made the mistake of ordering my first Recon 3rd brake like from eBay for cheap. Had warranty issues, but I could never get them to respond. Happened upon Riffraff and paid a couple bucks more, but you know both of the consecutive two times I have had to warranty it they have taken care of me. No questions asked....
Don't fall for somebody that is hocking parts in their mom's basement for $5 over cost because they have no overhead. Stick with companies that are actual shops and know what they are selling. I have had great service from Riffraff, DieselOrings, DP-Tuner, and KEM just to name a few and that's where my funds will go anytime they have what I need.
