5 star tuner

Ok so I'm wondering what would be the big gain of getting a tuner if I don't tow much and don't need the added performance??

I'm getting tax money an i could get a tuner or body body mods

The tuner gets rid of that drive by wire unconnected feeling and replaces it with snappy throttle response. It really helps at traffic lights(hint) and when merging with traffic. Oh and the trans shifts better too.

I've read it's best to get rid of that restrictive Y pipe and get the headers and tuner. I'll probably do the headers and Y pipe first, then get the tuner?

It gives you that little extra "ump" to get up and go. It helps your trans to shift better, and as long as you can keep your right foot out of it, I've gotten a little better mileage out of mine. Plus, you get the cool SCT decal!

I don't need to see a thread like this right now... I'm trying to ignore the itch to buy a programmer! I had another brand on my last F-150 and the transmission improvements alone were worth the cost of admission.

If you are looking for quickness, a tuner and gears are the ticket.

Let's not forget the BSEG that get's even bigger. Once you get it you wonder why you didn't do it sooner after reading all the posts from us that talk about it. I've been running mine for over 110k miles now.
