Don't tap the MAP line. It is not as accurate as if you tap into the intake Y.
Here is where I put mine on the intake Y. It is the brass fitting on the upper portion of the intake Y.

Where the schrader vavle is, is where you want to get your fuel PSI from. However, you will not be able to just screw it into where the schrader valve was. You will need a brass nipple and a brass 90* elbow to install the sensor there. That is because of the engine pull mount located right next to the schrader valve.
I'm not seeing how there could be a difference in pressure then. The air pressure in the top of your tires is the same as the air pressure in the bottom isn't it? Same principle applies unless you have a leak in that line someplace (maybe in the MAP sensor itself?).
