Hub swap
Hey guys,
I bought a 93 ford halfton 4x4, with automatic locking hubs. They seem to be alright, but i would rather have manuals. I have a 86 Ford 4x4 sitting in the weeds with locking hubs. I was wondering if they are interchangable, i have no clue what kind of front axle is in either but are they even close to interchangable? If so, is it practical or should i just stick witht the auto's?

Hub swap
They are both TTB Dana 44's. You can interchange the hubs to the late model. The best way would be to purchase new hubs though. Then you know they will work.
Either way, I'd get rid of the auto hubs.
