Tell her congratulations! Took me 2 tries as well, same with getting my license haha. My scary thing with a permit was when I was in my moms car and took a turn to sharp near a wall.... Scratched the side up pretty good
she missed 1 question, test was don in 7 minutes! the wait time at mvd was 3.5 hours.
than she drove my diesel w/standard transmission home on the highway.
wow thats good. to bad for such a wait. I mean it took me 15 mins to get my test done and half an hour sitting in the DMV. Small town means less people at the DMV. She must have been learning on a ranch how to drive standard. I learned standard by accident. I will tell the story if you all want. Any ways she is going to be a good driver if she can drive a standard diesel down the highway with all those idiot drivers and still do good. I mean I drove an automatic home down the highway and that was hard enough with all the people cutting you off. Congratulations to her.

about a year ago she wouldn't drive my truck because it is standard. than after I told her she gets it when I get another truck she decided to learn how to drive a standard. also the only thing around here with an auto is my wife's suburban and my '95 powerstroke project truck.
Ya my truck is an automatic 88 F150 4x4. I learned standard on our now ranch truck 1989 F250 4x4. I was working on it and got it started when my foot slipped off the clutch and the truck was in 1st. I ended up having to drive it after it almost took out my car. I was able to drive it for 15 minutes before it died because it was out of gas but it was one smooth running truck. I then later learned better off a 1993 Ford F250 4x4 460 V8. I learned auto matic off my dad's 1986 F150. I have been told by my dad I drive standard better then auto but I keep ending up with auto trucks.
