I've gotta buy some tow straps! They can cost a good amount though!

Yeah, I was looking at buying a good one or two, around $80 bucks a piece.

Too bad I don't have a bike, I could ride that trail to check it out! That's the trail with the picture of my truck by the dead Nissan.

I used to have two 30' tow straps,lent em to some kid at school, never saw em again

I wonder if I should get straps with the hooks at the end, or just regular straps with the loop ends

The d rings use a pin that you can take on and off fairly easily right?

Yessir. Just gotta make sure you don't leave them somewhere to get rusted real bad or you'll not be able to get them off easily.

Gotcha, seems like it's easier to find regular straps with just the loops ends n the higher capacities than with the hooks already on em. I kinda remember having problems with the hooks fitting on certain things too

After much research on mountain bikes, I have zero conclusions. Off to bed then.

Don't over tighten the pin on the shackle either. Can make it a pain to get off after pulling on it.
