So have you decided what area you are going to move too? I got a flyer in the mail about some new development down around C-ville. Said it was 30 min from W Richmond....

The wife would love to be back in the "Fan" area, which is just a skip West of Downtown Richmond, within the City limits.
I happen to like more than an arms reach between houses, and have a need for off street parking, so County it is.

We'll likely end up in the "Near West End" of town. That would put us between where our meet was last Saturday and Downtown. I personally would love to be in Powhatan or Goochland (neighboring counties to the West) but the wife doesn't want to be that removed just yet.

Her must haves are 3-4 bedrooms, 2+ baths, and a screened in porch. I keep telling her it's not hard to add the last one. I require off street parking and more than .25 acre. Honestly .4-.5 acre would be best as there would likely be room for a detached garage down the line, but we'll see.

Can you tell it's a complicted search??

 

Haha, when I quoted Chris' post I didn't realize that you guys were on the next page. Imma gonna blame that on the fact that I hadn't had my java yet. One cup down!!! Really liking this Starbucks VIA instant coffee. It's way better than the earthen **** our dept provides.

Yeah we have found some house styles that we agree upon, and a few neighborhoods to our liking. Gotta spruce up our current spot first. Carpet is coming up and flooring is going down. Gotta paint a few spots too. Fun Fun

I think so too, but I'm slightly biased.
