transmission mount
1984 F150 4X4 351 w, 4speed trans.
Needed to replace transmission mount, when I went to get replacement the only one they had was much smaller in size than what was in my truck. Mine is about 16 inches long with what looks like and have the same metal parts as a cab/body mount. Large rubber donuts top and bottum. The replacement fits. Has anyone had the same problem. Should I be concerned?

You have the same rare transmission mount as I do, and it's supposed to be only for the SROD & TOD transmissions, but apparently it was also used for NP-435s & BW T-18/19s. I got a set of poly early Bronco transmission mounts and used them. If you found something that fits, it should be fine.
