Power steering issue
My 06 SD has started making growling noise when turning corners and applying the brakes. The power steering reservour is full, actually fuller than it should. Any ideas on what I should be looking for?

The fluid is no longer bright red. It is a little brownish red now. Original fluid. 69K miles on the truck. Lifted up the front end this afternoon and turned the steering wheel back and forth between the stops, attempting to bleed, but nothing changed. Still gets noise when turning and also stepping on the brakes.

Time to change the fluid. I dont know if it is the same process for a 2005+, but here is the how to for the 7.3.
