If you're talking about the throttle body/buttertflies then there is no calibration. The idle air control provides the air needed at idle and this is controlled by the computer.

heres the problem.
I rebuilt the tranny(AOD) this past saturday. well not knowing any better I didnt use a solvent (brake cleaner) to clean each part. I drove fine. everything was put back together I ran through the gears when I was coming back up to park I went from neutral to reverse and it "SLAMED into reverse the whole rear end shoock. second problem happend today. coming home from work I was going about 40mph and the rmps just shot up to like 5000 rpms it seemed llike it didnt want to change gears.
any hints or clues where to look for the problem..?
I'm going to order a Ford service manual tomorrow...ffrom the local ford dealer..
