Yeah haha thats what im wondering. Ah well i'll just play around with it and see what happens.
Ive guessed on all my other speaker installs in the past, so why not this time too
Theres no problem with that. I just dont like doing anything to my truck that cant be easily undone. So when a wiring harness is available, I will usually use it.

Actually i have an idea.. if youd do it for me.
I cant tell in the vid cause its too small. But looking at the adapter, the big one will run to one of the wires, and the little one will run to the other.
If you could tell me which one runs to which, thatd tell me + and -

It appears to be paired as
White = Brown
Black = Yellow.
I would also fare to guess that white is (+) and black is (-).
Remember this is the front right door. Chances are the front left door will have different colors.

Thats what it looks like to me too. Alright sweet thanks! Gonna go try it out. be back in 10
Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the speakers will play with any combination of the wires. I just did this upgrade about a month ago and I think I tried both ways.

I was thinking that was right, but didnt want to say anything because I dont know if its true.
I heard if you reverse the wires it will sound weird.. but when i did my speakers i found a wiring color code chart so it was easy. every door had different color wires going to + and - lol...

Yeah every speaker had different wire colors. So frustrating
You can fit a 6.5 in the front doors of these trucks because I have them. I made some adapter plates to cover the hole out of plexiglass and then cut out enough to get the 6 1/2" speaker to fit into it. It's not pretty but those are the speakers I had at the time and didn't feel like buying new. The 5x7/6x8 "ford size" are much easier to install. I think the pos and neg on the speakers would only matter if you have a big sound system with lots of power and amps and crap. That seems to be what I remember.
