Pulling the engine soon, guna need some help!

well guys heres the deal...

i know i have a leak in my rear main seal...couple drips every time i check where i park at the end of the week. figured while im in there i will do a oil pan just for good measure..and then of course with that i figured i would do uppipes. i have a sickness of preventive maintenance right now. while the motors out i plan to clean the engine compartment, put in some sound deading in the firewall and go on a wire tie spree.

im just looking for help weather it be at RRE this year or some other g2g coming up. any takers?

If it end up being at RRE I'll be there to help you Phil. Otherwise, not too many plans to make it to the northeast before then.

Rebuild the oil cooler, since it will be easier, other than what you listed, everything else is easy enough to do installed.

Do you have oil in the valley? Rear main leaks are not very common.

thought that too grant...looked in the valley and its pretty clean. not enough to expect otherwise. the bottom where it would be leaking from the rear main seal is COVERED in oil. im going to do the EBPV rebuild to be sure but at any rate i think i want to pull it to do an oil pan.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. My parents are still around but have lost all my Grandparents. Hang in there. It's always hard to loose a loved one. Hopefully we will all meet up again..
