Question. I purchased my F250 in December and have put about 1500 miles on it since then. One of the items I have noticed is the hour meter that is available as you run through the settings (miles per gal, trip, etc.) What exactly is the hour meter used for?

It is used to tell you how many hours your engine has spent running, If you take the miles you have and divide it by the hours on the engine it'll tell you how many miles per engine operating hour. That in turn will tell you if you spent alot of time idling. Hours is also used if you lets say snow plow you wont get that many miles on the truck but the hours will go up you can use that to help you know when you need to change your engine oil.

I'm kind of looking to make mine my daily driver also and consolidate some of these vehicles. How far is your commute? Have you had any problems with the truck?
