New API category being formed...

Well it appears that heavy-duty diesel oil is going to have a new API rating developed. Be sure to read the right hand side of the first page...very interesting. This is going to be a zoo with two sub-categories under the new standard and only one will meet our needs (high-temperature/high shear).

All the rules are not yet even established, so this is not going to be a fast process. This has been an ongoing discussion and planning effort for nearly two years already.

I knew that a working group had been put together, but this was the first discussion I had seen in a HDT magazine.
