tried to remove the fuel lines from the front tank on my 95 f 350 dually 4x4. took off the little metal clamps that hold the lines together or atleast i thought that what they did. lines will not come off sending unit. do i need a special tool to remove them? really frustrated at this point
i bought the 3/8" fuel line tool maybe i got the wrong one. guess ill have to wait till monday and borrow the guys down the street. tried to get the fuel filter out of line too and it was badly rusted. couldnt get it off either
Usually two different sizes for supply and return.
that makes sense looked like it was too small for the line. oh well mark it up to experience and move on. it did seem to fit fuel filter line but i will get a kit with several sizes.
Only "trick" I know of is push the connection together before inserting tool, then pull.. If you pull first it just binds the connection so the tool won't go in right if at all..
