My washer and dryer is old enough to get a drink :-)
I have a Shirt from Basic Training-- A bb gun from High school, and a cross bow I built in 1985. I have some boyscout stuff from 1979-1980, But that is about as old as stuff as I have personally owned.
I have a watch handed down from my grandfathers uncle, and some coins from Ancient Greece, A few Roman coins, and a scarab from Egypt that is about 2,500 years old.
Anyone got anything older? Owned anything longer then 33-34 years?
well, to start with I am only 37, so I would have a hard time in a competition of your 33-34 years.
I have had my old IH since I was 12 or 13, the two motorcycles in my garage were purchased new in 73ish, about two years before I was born, I have two bottles of wine in the kitchen, one is home made and it is about 150 years old, the other is about 100 years old or more, both were given to us as gifts when we were in Italy by our friends. We haven't opened either one, but we have only had them for about 6 years or so.
I have my rubber ducky that was given to me by my great grandfather when I was a baby. It is smashed and hard as a rock and looks like a blob. Probably ought to just throw it away. I also have some dimes given to me from when I was a baby.
I have my .22 rifle that I got new when I was about 12. It is over 50 years old.
I guess I have a 1963 F-100, and I have a green farm wagon that is well over 100 - but it doesn't look like it. OH and a jug handle from the Adriatic that I dove for-- not knowing the strict laws about getting artifacts just off the coast until later. Didn't really mean to steal it.
