OK so I have bulletproof diesel on my Facebook and they keep posting pictures of the bulletproof ficm and honestly I'm getting pretty anxious for it to come out....any one else waiting like me?
That is the first I have heard of it. Are you talking about a remanned unit or a totally new product that they have put together? There are a few respectable repair companies out there that offer high quality components in their repairs at very reasonable prices.
Not a reman or rebuilt but their own brand new programmable product. There are a few pics of it out there if you google it. Last I read they are still testing it.
At one point it was supposed to be adjustable from 48 to 58 volts. I know that they went through hell getting it manufactured and Ken gained a great respect for the design engineer of the original unit. He said they had gone through a LOT of R&D money trying to get it done.

I was wondering how long it would be before someone did that. Look at how many people report FICM issues on this forum, compare how few 6.0L owners are members here compared to the total number of 6.0L engines out there and that market would appear to be HUUUUUGE.
I have also wondered why someone hasn't designed a jig to test a FICM on the bench. Just guessing but all you would need would be dummy injectors, signals imitating those that go into the FICM and a power supply with enough umph to power the FICM. The signals imitating those going into the FICM would be the hard part.
I wish them the best. I can imagine they have dumped a lot of money into its development (as someone already mentioned). I sure hope they can get it manufactured here in the good ole USA. I also hope they aren't under the lead free solder constraints. I am thinking that is a good part of the problem with the Ford FICM.
