My cousin has a Ford 2008 diesel some water went into something called the pump seal i think thats what its called and i took it to the dealer and they said they cant fix it its been sitin their for 5 months now i would like to hear some advice please guys thank you.
A new dealer for sure...be aware Ford does not warranty water contamination in the fuel system...if that is the issue.
I'd suggest contacting ford cust service at this point and speak with them about moving it to a dealer that has a 6.4 certified tech on hand.
That is just too long for no action.
Other part of this maybe that the dealer has told the owner they will not warranty it and it will be a customer pay..upwards of 8K to replace the entire fuel system.
An alternative is your insurance company. file a comprehensive claim. Then they can go after the fuel station if reciepts are still on hand.
First if they say they can not fix you need a new dealer! Need move inf. to help you.
its a problem with the fuel pump ford said they cant cover it even tho its under warranty its been there for months and im still paying for it since its a work truck ford is sayin that there is water in there but i never put any water in there i take care of my trucks and i own 6 of them i love ford but this isnt right.

Is your truck a fleet truck...thru fleet sales? Might talk with cust svc for fleet if so.

How often did you drain the water separator? You may not have put it in directly, but unfortunately, it doesn't mean the fuel didn't have water in it when you pumped it. All it takes is one bad batch of fuel to ruin your day.

Have them check your water in fuel sensor it should have went of with this much water. Also you might want to check your insuance co., some pay for this cost!
