1997 E4OD to 1994 300
the 1997 has the modular bolt pattern, is it possible to modufy the trans or engine so that I can use the trans with my truck, the elextronics are compatible, but if there were a way to bolt it up I would be better off. the top bolt holes line up, but ford went to a hollow dowel in the newer version of the case, it is very close to fitting except for the starter postion. has there ever been any attempt to convert between the modular bolt pattern and the windsor?
