Jump Seats
Hello...new member here. I have owned several 77, 78, & 79 trucks, usually 4 x 4's. This time I have a 79' F250 SC with 460...picked up from old farmer for $ 500.00. I have seen several other SC but all had bench seats...this one has jump seats...factory, is this common and I haven't seen them before or are they rare? Thanks,

We almost have the exact rig and I to have 2 kinda like a folding jump seats.

My '74 F-250 Super-Cab (First Year for Super-Cab) has blue jump seats in mint condition with no tears or rips. I can't stand them. I want to convert it to the bench seat. I wonder if anyone else has done this swap? Wouldn't be to hard to do...

Thanks...I like the ad....very cool. I have had the bench seat & it was ok but the jump seats I really like...so do my grandsons, they think they are just for them.

Looks like I need to post some pictures...have just finished redoing the inside...now starting to save for the outside. Changing the original brown paint color to a more chocolate...will try & post this weekend. Thanks guys & ladies for sharing.

I had three 79 sc i used in construction ,they all had the jump seats.Left a lot of room to haul tools , air comp. ect in behind the seat. I never saw one with the bench seat in my part of the woods. Back during those years chevy was king in this area,now i believe dodge ford and chevy are about the same. That's just in the area i live in.

I believe the jump seats were standard and the bench seat optional ,just going by the add posted. I wish they were rare,i salvaged two sets of them when i parted out a couple of the old S.Cs. I will hang on to them in case somebody needs a set.

You put the bench seat for your front seat? Can you send a picture...curious as to how it works? Thanks
