One thing you might want to do before you start is go find a 4x4 and park your truck facing it up close so you can see the front suspensions at the same time. It was when I did this that I realized it would not be hard. Ford did all of the engineering.
I also put in polyurethane bushings when I did mine, but it is not necessary. Just gave it a tight ride.
