hey ya'll....once again i wonder about my truck...is it really worth the money.....i have recently been having some problems w/ the tranny in my 95....this is what it does....it takes a long time to go into any forward gear, and unless i turn off the overdrive it falls out of gear at every stoplight, sign etc. if there is anyone that has had these same problems please feel free to share any info at all....all i can get out of any transmission or garage around town is that my best bet is a new transmission....just want some other options or to find out that there is a recall on this problem or somethin.....please feel free to email me at jrobison@abcs.com

Get someone like Autozone to scan the codes out of the computer. If there is a specific failed component, that should help.
Unfortunately, if you have over 110,000 miles and it is slow to engage D or R, especially in the morning, it is just plain worn out. Expect to pay $1200-$1800 for an E4OD. Stay away from Aa**o, unless you personally know the people there.
