Autometer Boost gauge question

I bought a mechanical boost gauge from Autometer that measures 0-35 psi, hooked it up and works great. My truck is an 04 Ford F250 with a 6.0 and I was wondering how much boost it should be showing. Under steady acceleration I get about 5-10 psi. That may be correct but I don't know anything about what a normal reading would be with my truck and just seems low with the max reading being 35 psi and all. by the way, its all stock. Somebody tell me whats up , appreciate it
