MARCH GTG !!!!!!

OK Folks it's a new year and believe me I know things are tough all over for everyone but we really need a GTG . This chapter has an aniversary this March and we need to do this .For those who have never been to one of our meets these are family affairs not drunken beer bashes ,we have lots of good food , bench racing , Ford Truck talk , and great people to meet.

Lets start kicking around when and where and PLAN THIS THING !!!!

Where do we want to try and have this in the middle of the state ? It's probably gonna be cold so we are going to need to be inside ,we can't have the ladies and kiddo's getting to cold. I vote for a theme of a Chilli Cook Off any other suggestions ?

We need to start getting the word out( HINT.... HINT.... JOE ) and see who is interested in coming and where they live . Quite a few of us live right here in the center of the state but we have members scattered all over.

The 10th and 17th are open for us. I'm willing to drive where ever it takes, but I agree that central to north central will accommodate the largest number of members.

Could we get that place in vilonia again? It will hold us all and if I remember correctly the price was right.

I'm all for a GTG, but March is after the jobs change...so I have no clue what days I'm going to be off. I've got a big road trip in June I'm going to be concentrating on bidding around...but if I'm off what every day we pick...I'm in like Flynn. I'll even bring the Pavement Princess this time. Got to show some 6.0L pride.

For the record, I only eat domesticated & well done cats; no free range or medium rare. Those black ones with white racing stripes...I'll pass; got a nasty after taste worse than light beer.

Approximately 18" from the computer screen.

I'd like to suggest the 17th...my kids are on spring break the following week; one is going to my Father's in Little Rock for that week. If I can get that weekend it would work out perfect for me...but it's only a suggestion on my part.

Those racing strip cats really are good. Just gotta kill them without pissing them off then slow cook them. Crook pots work really good.

The 3rd and the 17th would be ideal for us, if it falls on the 10th I'll still be there, I'll just have to arrange a babysitter or I'll have the 2 curtain climbers with me.

I'm also willing to drive wherever anywhere in the state if we can drum up some interest.

I'll work on getting the word out to all Arkansas FTE members.

Anyone know how many years this anniversary meet will be?

It just depends on what day you have it. I'll have to check my work schedule to see when I'm off.
