Can anyone help me on finding out how much it would cost to swap 4.10 gears into my truck.I have 3.73 right now but I've heard that 4.10 works better with the 4.6L which is what my trucks has.My truck has a posi rearend but I didn' know if it would cost more to install.I'd have to take it to a shop to have it done.If anyone's done it if they could share on how much it cost and how long it took to have it done I'd appreciate it!

What size tires are you going to be running, stock? Do you drive a lot on the highway? On a 4wd truck, parts is about 500-600 plus labor, about 200-300 an axle depending on the cost of living in your area.

Right now I run 265/75R16 on 16X10 rims.I don't plan on going any bigger since I will need a lift probally.I drive mostly on the highway but I wanted the 4.10 gears to make it take off faster.Or maybe I should buy a chip instead that would make it go faster and it would be cheaper. Thanks!
