CDL

Got my class A w/haz&tanker cuz plumbings so slow....or im expensive hehe Nontheless l like diesel smoke and white line fever

thanks for that vid Cap'n, I enjoyed that! Some part of me deep inside has always wanted to be a truck driver! I will now google that song to see who sings it.

I was reading on another forum that CDL drivers in the oil fields are in demand, plus good money.

WE are currently looking for experienced truck drivers to join our team in Williams and Ward Counties. Positions open for oilfield drivers.
Class A CDL required with 1 year of prior driving experience.
Starting wage ranges from $20-$26.25/hr. for day shift, $22-$28.25/hr for night shift (DOE), 6 days on/ 2 days off. 65 hours per week average.
An excellent benefits package including,$300-$500 per month safety/performance bonus, 401(k) with 5% match, 100% paid employee health insurance, paid vacation,and paid holiday.

That job sounds real good. If I ever lost my current job, that would be a very appealing opportunity.

I would recommend getting a reliable rig from home and taking it to the fields.
You'll make more money and won't get stuck with the worst rig in the fleet.
