should i?

Found a 2004superduty super duty with 124k on it an a 6.0L should I take a chance? Everyone tells me to def. Stay away from the 6.0 but its a great price! Please any feedback would be great

Better do your homework!! Any maintenance records on the truck? Anything been replaced recently? Check the tech folder at the top of the forums before you nose dive into a decision you can't back out of. I love my truck, but it has been a tough relationship at times. Can you get an Oasis report on it? Carfax? Just my 2 cents.

Another question you need to answer is, do you need a diesel. If your using it as a cruiser or grocery getter, get a gasser. Short runs are killers of modern diesels and the maintenance is 2 to 3 times higher and very critical.

If you don't mind wrenching on it, and have some cash on hand to get the maintenance current, like has been said, they are not cheap to maintain.

After everything show at the dealers as they open and do a cold start to see if the glow plug system is working. Had mine for 3 months 4000 miles and still hard start in the morning.
