Will a 06 frontend replacement fit my 01?

No,you need an e99-04 bumper. They changed head lights,grill and bumper in 05.

There was a conversion kit on Ebay for a decent price that did your headlights, bumper, and grill to an 05 up model. I just looked and its not there now, but they are out there, just keep your eyes peeled if you want that 05 up style. Otherwise, no the 2006 bumper is not a plug and play bumper for our trucks.

Damn, found this ranch hand frontend end replacement on craigslist for $225 bucks
