Fro my research I am gathering that an 89 F350 4x has a BW1356 transfer case. Does this t case have a slip yoke rear output or a fixed yoke? The truck is a CCLB.
is that a manual shift tcase? will it bolt right up to the e4od? is it auto or manual specific?
Manual t-case used ONLY in 96/97 F250/F350. But you NEED the F350 one for your front driveshaft to work.
The ONE nice thing about a Ford is the everything from early the 1st attached t-case to -97 all have the same rear trans bolt pattern and spline count so they are all interchangeable.
As soon as they went SD they screwed that up
